NMTC – National Mathematics Talent Contest

NMTC is open to students from class 5 up to undergraduate degree level. Participants are grouped into five categories based on their class or academic level.

  • Gauss (Primary): Classes 5 – 6
  • Kaprekar (Sub-Junior): Classes 7 – 8
  • Bhaskara (Junior): Classes 9 – 10
  • Ramanujan (Inter): Classes 11 – 12
  • Aryabhata (Senior): Undergraduate degree or equivalent

Each category follows a similar syllabus with increasing difficulty. Senior‑level contestants participate in a single‑stage final test.
